Valid Syntax is a short 10 minute podcast looking at the status of Open Source projects as reported at Sourceforge.net, Freshmeat.net, and others that you might find useful for any OS. Also, with your help we will spotlight on each show a Project of the Day, Editorials, and possibly have some fun along the way.
My Name is Kreg Steppe, I’m currently employed as a web developer. I have been in the IT/Computer field since the late 80’s and I have done about everything from System Administration to programming.
I am a fan of Open Source software. Sometimes free (as in beer and free speech) can be better than it’s commercial counterparts, or at least give you options that you may have not had before.
