- The "latest spittle" is deleted from the article in accordance with the guidelines. As I was telling you before, it is not the correct place to have a discussion but a discussion page would be. If you REALLY want that to be shown somewhere you can post it on your discussion page here or something, but on the article's page it shouldn't be.
Hey
Hey, I cleaned up your writing of the description on the article for alexsdbzrpg.com, some of the wording was improperly used etc. I also commented on your review. Curious, are you a member of the site there? TomBrady2k9. Sept 13, 2007, 3:34 PM
- Well thanks for the help in regards to the wording. I am not a member of that site but after the last week or so I believe I know more about the site as a whole than most of the other members do. And you've certainly stumbled into a hornets nest! haha There has been quite a fuss over this article over the last week, and you bringing up the history of the site is actually quite irritating (just in general, please don't think I am irritated with you) because the history of the site is what started the whole debacle. Now, I can reply to your review about the history, but I am afraid that could just start everything over again. I will give a brief summary to you (and FYI the whole article history was wiped so as to give the article a fresh start, so you may not be able to view it, you will have to ask the staff), and please verify it with almost any staff member, and specifically, KristinaWeis, Isabel, RayKing, TedErnst, SimonKoldy, and MarkDilley. I mean, this article ended up being locked for a few days until the staff could actually have a meeting about it. Anyway, on to the point. The history you read of that site is exxagerated in parts while other parts of it are completly false. That history you read was originally here at aboutus until myself and two others sought (sp) to correct it. Thus ensued the weeklong battle with the owner of the site Xander756 (and you can actually review his talk history to see what a debacle it was). And don't misunderstand my use of "correct". We did not change his article at all, merely left a review stating that parts were either false or exxagerated and as such, because your recomendation is based off of that history, I think it's an incorrect recomendation. In regards to you pointing out that there are in fact 50 members, that isn't accurate. Yes, the roster on the website claims it has 50 members, but the website is not kept updated and the majority of the game is in fact played via the site's message board. After spending a week or two of daily visits to the board, I was able to determine that it is about ten people that play on a regular basis. The fued you mention has little consequence on the REGULAR arrival and departure of members. But, to be fair, at the time it DID happen, between five and ten members left.
- Well, I just talked with the staff and it seems like they don't have a problem with me replying (I'm not sure, I had to leave before I got a definte answer). I just hope Xander756 doesn't have a cow again! haha, Ok thanks for your time and if I sounded rude I do apologize. I don't mean to come off as rude, I am just concerned about repeating last week. - Hi Legna, I also think one option is just to let the other review stand and let folks make up their own minds :-) ~~ MarkDilley
- I'm not entirely comfortable doing that. I'll make a reply and keep it as light as possible. Legna Krad. Sept 14, 2007, 10:05 PM
- Hey- have been following the action on TomBrady2k9 talk page, an entirely tricky situation; though I am not sure it's ultimately Constructive to pursue your suspicions about the contributors identity. Kasey 11:07, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
- Sorry, that note was pretty cryptic on my part; I was referring to the welcome category numerical date, but, no nothing wrong at all. :-) Kasey
Hey Legna, the numerical format for the welcoming tag/ category on my talk page is so it can properly sort. The way you did it does make a lot more sense visually! :) Kasey
