blanking pages not considered constructive
Hi there. I'm glad you're enjoying making potential spam sites. Could you please stop removing all the rest of the information from the pages, however? Thanks much! peace, TedErnst | talk 10:35, 17 September 2007 (PDT)
- To reiterate what TedErnst has already stated above, please do not blank the content of pages when tagging them as potential spam/fraud sites. Please just place the template at the top of the page, leaving intact the rest of the page's content. Let me know if you have any questions about this. KristinaWeis 17:24, 17 September 2007 (PDT)
- Please also see some tips at PossibleSpamSites. Thanks. Nathan (talk) 19:10, 17 September 2007 (PDT)
Hi Cosmik,
I saw your note to Kristina. I think it is perfectly acceptable for you to remove information that is somehow improper. Could you do that while still leaving the structure of the page? For example, thumbnail, just remove the text between the <thumbnail> tags. And feel free to remove text from the page, but leave the headings intact. Make sense? - Hello Ted. I started doing that while originally indexing the spam/fraud sites but found that it was very time consuming and cumbersome to do so, considering how many of these sites seem to appear new daily. Yours is a great suggestion, though; I think I can make a generic header or generic script to handle listings for sites like this. Reserach tells me that most of these sites are all connected to the same cartel of international criminals, with only a few variations on method/type (e.g. "herbal global", watch replicas, "canadian pharmacy", etc. Thanks for the feedback; I will consult with the community before making any more edits related to this particular topic. --Cosmik7415 11:57, 18 September 2007 (PDT)

You may find plenty more of these sites at Special:Whatlinkshere/EliteHerbals.com.
I tend to redirect all the spam sites I can find (which are all inter-related) to that page. I don't believe in keeping identical pages here on AboutUs because it's unnecessary duplication. I think we may be in conflict on how we deal with these kinds of sites so we should decide what the best method is :-) Nathan (talk) 16:55, 18 September 2007 (PDT)
