Trying to figure it out...

I'm conferring with a few buddies here, ChrisBabson and JohnStanton as they know more about HTML formatting and the like than I - it's odd cause wiki formatting is quite a bit different. I think we're as puzzled as you are, but John's working on it. Right now I think he is going to work on re-creating the table using wiki formatting.

I'm from Portland, Oregon and my photos are from various hikes around the area (it's so beautiful here save the rain). How was Peru? I really want to go to Curitiba, Brazil sometime.

Essentially the key is making a beautiful and interesting page. From the AboutUs.org homepage there is a link across the top called FeatureMe which gives a run-down on the concept being featured. Also, from within that page is this page which has some more information on how to be featured. Let me know...

ULTA is a big beauty store with skin products, make-up and hair-care stuff. One just opened up near my house, but before that I had never heard of it either.

Hey Sam,

Here is the page that details how you can update a thumbnail image: UpdateThumbnail. I went ahead and fixed that capitalization boo-boo for TanoJewelry.com using the "move" tab across the top after "article", "edit" and so on. I think this is something you have access to if you run across this issue again. The page is looking great, by the way.

I hope you don't mind my moving your table of contents to the right on this your talk page - the template is located at the top and you can delete it if you wish.

Hello, I just wanted to pop in and say hello to show you something that I'm excited about. It's a brand new tour for learning about wiki and AboutUs.org with more advanced tour tracks in the works at WikiAnatomy. You can check it out at TheWikiWay:WhatIsWiki.

I did take a look at TanoJewelry.com and I think it looks pretty great - I'm not sure what to suggest to increase your odds f being featured. It looks genuinely good so nice work.

Mind if I make a suggestion: Wouldn't the images look a lot better in the article if they were resized to be a bit smaller? You can do that, just upload them to AboutUs. :) Need any help? Just let me know. Nathan ^(talk) / 02:12, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Remember you can link to anything on AboutUs by using double square braces - see [[AboutUs]] which looks like AboutUs after you click save. That pure HTML table looks a bit awkward on a wiki - I'll improve it for you. There's a table to wiki converter link in my PersonalPage. Nathan ^(talk) / 21:02, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

I would just like to tell you about the WhoWeAre consensus poll. This is a unique opportunity for all community members to discuss and decide what AboutUs is and more importantly what role we, the community, plays.

The discussion is still in its initial stages and there are a handful of people involved in this discussion. But it's not enough. Every one of us has a stake in this process. We all need to air our views. Our opinions will make a difference. We cannot and must not let a handful of people define us. We must speak out and contribute because we are being defined and I for one would like to have a say in how I am being defined.

NewSkin Beta Preview

Hi Sam! I think the easiest way would be to use a "gallery" feature. There are also some things you can do in terms of making the images align left or right and text can wrap around them if you like, and that's formatted like [[Image:MyPhoto.jpg|left|150px|caption here]] (instructions here).
