light the insense, turn on the black light and break out the bong, two new songs from dead meadow. this was taken off the soundboard, in their hometown of DC in april, when they were out on tour with dinosaur jr and priestess.
I don’t know anything about jazz, but I like this band and I stole this from their bio page. “Shot × Shot is an improvisational acoustic quartet performing original compositions steeped in jazz tradition, but with experimental sensibilities.” Very good listening.
Mark Knopfler and Emmy Lou Harris have collaborated on a new album called, All the Roadrunning. It will be made available through Nonesuch on April 25. Here you can stream the album.
