- Since the advent of radio and then television, people have obtained their news from national media outlets based upon the amount of time available to them. Those with significant demands upon their time have tended to rely on broadcast news. People with the luxury of some measure of time have tended to augment the broadcast media with at least one newspaper. In fact, many people relish a personal tradition of lazing about on Sunday morning with the Sunday newspaper. However, now the major media outlets are not satisfying our information needs. These people, hungry for a more balanced approach and a more informative source for real news to the Internet, are being pushed to the Internet.
