About Trans-Video.Net

Trans-Video was founded by George Goodrich, Sr., in 1951. It was the first cable system in New England and among the first dozen in the U.S. Trans-Video has used its privileged place as both pioneer and family company to remain one of the most forward-looking, inventive, and community-minded cable organizations. In 1995, when the World Wide Web was unknown to most Americans, Trans-Video was already stringing optical cable, the nervous system of local high-speed cable modem Internet access. And now, in 2001, Trans-Video opens a new chapter as one of the smallest self-contained cable modem systems in the country.
