General Idea

If you consider yourself a "network weaver" and would like to be easily found, please add the word NetworkWeaver to your profiles on social networking or any other websites. Instructions follow for specific business and social networking systems. We will be adding systems over time. Please visit this page at http://www.networkweaver.info for our current list. Note: In the past, we were using the term ConnectorsNet to serve the same purpose. We are phasing out use of the term ConnectorsNet and will standardize on NetworkWeaver in the future.

Social Networking is a rapidly growing field, and there is no comprehensive list of all sites. To search, visit Category:NetworkWeavers and click through to the categories you're interested in, by geography or area of focus.

To add NetworkWeaver to your profile, go to Account, scroll down the page to Edit My Keywords, and add NetworkWeaver to your Keywords

To search for NetworkWeaver, use the standard search FIND members by name, skill, city or zip.

To add NetworkWeaver to your profile, click on My Profile edit or click on the My Account tab, click edit toward the upper right of your Profile, add the word NetworkWeaver as one of your 50 Words.

To search for NetworkWeaver, search from the Advanced Contacts Search, and enter NetworkWeaver into the Full text search field.

To add NetworkWeaver to your profile, click Profile edit, then Personal. You can add it in your Interests. We also have a NetworkWeavers group on Facebook.

To add NetworkWeaver to your profile, click Edit Profile and add the word NetworkWeaver. For example, you can add it to your affiliations or your interests.

To add NetworkWeaver to your profile, use the Add additional information link at the bottom of the My Profile: Edit screen, and add NetworkWeaver in the field Groups and Associations. For example, you could include: "NetworkWeaver - special areas of focus: __________________"

To search for NetworkWeaver, search from your Home page or use Find People - Keywords search, and enter the Keyword: NetworkWeaver

LinkedIn does not enable true postal/zip code search. Search by postal/zip code only results in general regional search (I believe within 50 miles -- greater Seattle area, greater Boston area etc). More specific geographic targeted search has been recommended but not implemented
