We are a family of 4 living in rural SW Idaho. This site is The Momma’s, but includes much about the rest of us, so an introduction is in order. Here goes:
The ORIGINAL Toady Joe was the Daddy - for some reason his mother called him that when he was wee and growing up on a farm & dairy… something about him being shorter and rounder than his older brother. She never really clarified further than that. Yeah, I don’t really “get it” either. At any rate, he was known as “Toady Joe” for at least a little while, and since I’ve been around long enough to hear almost all the stories of his childhood, I heard about it. When I was contemplating a Domain Of My Own, I wanted a unique name that’d be easy to remember - so I stole it. I am now ToadyJoe, and he no longer has the right to that moniker, lol.
My name is Amy and I’m an RN. When I’m not working (or playing on Our Own Private Idaho), I run this blog and take most of the pics. I’m also a wife, mother, pet owner, and weirdo (among other things). I have a lot of very random interests and hobbies, love to laugh, enjoy making things, & think Family Is Everything.
