The Fun Bucket is a technology / video game blog with a single administrator has been writing for the website since January of 2007. The Fun Bucket was originally launched as a simple website with a forum, which has since been closed. Unfortunately the forum didn't take off so it was closed down with a total of a little over 1000 posts and just 2 or 3 active members. Since then the blog has grown substantially and has been through good times and bad times with raises and drops in readers.
In December 2007 the website will have it's first birthday. The domain was purchased in December 2006 but that the time there was no blog set up. For birthday celebrations several things are planned and The Fun Bucket will enter "Phase 4.0".

- The Fun Bucket was originally created on January 2nd, 2007, when I decided to throw out my old blog and start fresh. The Fun Bucket started out self-hosted with 1and1 Internet and eventually was moved back to WordPress.com, after a few weeks of struggling with domain related issues, where my original blog was located. Originally, the blog was more life and random posts, but after a while I decided to change things around a bit and make it more of a neat little technology blog. We also had a forum, which has been since deleted. As of Friday, May 18th, 2007 the blog has had 2816 unique visitors (excluding my visits and visits before March 21st, 2007) along with 93 posts and 39 comments. As of Monday, August 20th, 2007 the blog has had 9581 unique visitors (once again excluding mine and ones before March 21st) along with 178 posts and 118 comments. As you can see, the blog has grown a bit since then.
