- Last week in the midst of all the chaos was something good. The Karate Kid earned his brown belt in Karate. He was so very excited and proud of himself that night. It was wonderful to watch. The whole school did a wonderful job with their forms that night. They all trained so hard, and have a lot to show for. Just watching my little boy and seeing how excited he was about what he accomplished took a lot of the bad stuff away for one night. This picture was taken with my phone last night as he was getting ready for his first advanced class. The butterflies were swarming!! For BOTH of us!
