About This Site/Our Staff
The Fifth Rule is a continuation of an old website of mine, The R4ndom Dot Com. The R4ndom was started in 2003 (I think) as my personal, whiny blog but became a site for making fun of stupid people, sweet videos and links and more.
Over time, I changed the focus of the website and as it matured, I decided to change the name from The R4ndom to The Fifth Rule. For some reason, people couldn’t grasp the concept that the 4 was there instead of the A in random. The name of the site became The Fifth Rule, a reference to the movie Fight Club. The fifth rule of Project Mayhem was “You have to trust Tyler Durden.” So, the motto of the site is, “In Tyler We Trust,” right out of the movie.
Recently, we have grown by starting Fifth Rule Radio, our own Internet Radio Station. We also have been in talks with some gamers about starting a gaming clan. Both of these projects are still in the works. If you’d like to be a part of either of these projects, let us know by emailing us. We have also established a partnership with InsaneChaos.com, a website that reviews the latest prime-time shows every week.
