Epilogue
This is officially the last post in this blog. From now on I'll write from my regular blog here. The year at INSEAD has been, as promised, a roller coaster. From the lows of P1 and P2 where core courses exert their mandatory pressures, particularly on the "softer" students, to the highs of getting my first job offer, biking in the archaelogical fields of Myanmar's Bagan, and simply discovering new minds among my fellow classmates. I would redo it all over again if asked, but I'd travel/ go out more/ be more forward looking rather than nostalgic (cough cough). I've always sought out adventure, but INSEAD forced me to be even more flexible and daunting. How did an ad chick land a VC offer? What I realized during job interviews is that everything I thought made me more vulnerable in business school were differentiating and attractive assets in the eyes of the interviewers. School shows we "fuzzy" people have a mind for business, and our backgrounds in the "arts" express our unique point of view and personalities. Who can resist?
