- Well, first, my name is Scott. I live in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. That’s one of the United States: the one with the arrowhead pointing towards Lake Superior. The arrowhead is a magical mystery place with many gorgeous parks along the North Shore of the lake. A couple of hundred miles south of there, Minneapolis is part of the the Twin Cities metro area where there are also some nice parks to be found. (St. Paul is the other twin and state capital.) What’s all this about parks? Well, I like parks and hiking. Maybe it’s the feeling of freedom in the outdoors. I tend to like the tamer freedom of local and state parks with mostly well-defined trails. I hear great things about the
