Description
“Deactivate Macromedia.com and switch to Adobe.com” This line was issued on December, 05 by Adobe systems. On December 03, 2005 Adobe acquired Macromedia and all its products including Flash were renamed to Adobe formerly Macromedia. With the acquisition of Macromedia, three new products were launched by Adobe, namely, Adobe Design bundle, Flash Professional and Adobe premiere suite. The company decided to include the Macromedia name on some of its products for a short period of time but after that all the products will be migrated to Adobe brand. Finally, Macromedia was completely acquired by Adobe Systems and all the activities of Macromedia were stopped including the trading which was ceased on December 5, 2005.
Macromedia Dreamweaver
Macromedia Dreamweaver is a publishing professional HTML editor used to design, to codify and to develop sites, pages and applications of web. Dreamweaver provides the equipment or tools that will improve the experience of creation of web documents. The visual edition functions of Dreamweaver allow creating pages of fast form, without writing a single line of code. You can see all the elements or assets of the site and drag them from a panel directly to a document. You can improve the job stream of development by means of the creation and edition of images in Macromedia Fireworks and later importing the same to Dreamweaver.
Macromedia Dreamweaver now incorporates Macromedia UltraDev, with improved functions, which facilitates the creation of web based applications on dynamic data bases by means of languages of servant like ASP, ASP.NET, ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML), JSP and PHP.

It is now possible to create cascading menus using JavaScript in Dreamweaver, a possibility that existed before in Fireworks only.

The new version supports more possibilities of manipulating tables that allow generating a more suitable code for the edition of tables, simplifying the management of attributes and assuring the maximum conclusion in all the dispositions, without affecting the compatibility between different navigators.

A Data base panel integrates quickly allowing you to review the structure and the content of the data bases, and to make searches in the tables, procedures stored and views before creating the consultations.
