OmniDazzle is a Mac application to add "dazzle" to presentations. Some of the enhancements are more practical than others, but all highlight the playfulness and whimsy of Macs. The software works with a variety of plug-ins to help highlight things on your screen, create visual effects or just track the location of your pointer.
Plug-Ins
The following are but a few of the many fun and productive plug-ins available for OmniDazzle:
Pixie Dust -- Makes "pixie dust" trail your pointer around, effectively turning it into a "virtual magic wand" ala Tinkerbell. Offers customizable options like a range of colors and amount of dust to please.
'Flashlight -- Spotlight specific areas of the screen with this baby, which dims the rest of the background, turning your pointer into a beam of light.
Focal Point -- Click on a window to have that one be highlighted as the others fade into the background.
Scribble -- Works like a highlighter or crayons. Useful for scribbling notes, circling things, or just pretending you're John Madden explaining the Nickle Defense.
Comic -- Liven up your screen with comic-styled starbursts that say "Pow! Biff! and Zot!" For those times when you're demoing tights and a cape.
Zoom -- Allows you to select an area of the screen and magnify it, zooming in on documents, graphics or text.
