It seems that the search results that were present before are now gone.  The material that I described earlier regarding other sites listings are also gone.  Fortunately my listings on Google are still present.

I had explained, and documented, to Ali that although Google is the engine that powers AboutUs searches, it is not searching the full Google database, only the AboutUs database.  Copies of the email that I sent to Ali can show this to you in black and white.

Have the parameters for AboutUs searches been changed?  What should I do now to obtain a fair and appropriate listing that is relevant to the information on my site?

Oh, you may find this interesting; it regards relevance.  It is an article of mine, on relevance, that you can view here:

I use Google to search my hard drives. Like all Google implementations that I know of, it also uses the Google relevance algorithym: I am guessing that it may not be working normally when searching the AboutUs database.  This is probably a "glitch" of some kind that is likely to be fixed before too long.

I left a message for you at AboutUs.  I had lost your phone number and extention so I put the message for you in the general message category.

not quite viral, but.. Kasey 11:51, 30 April 2008 (PDT)

I just looked at your message, and I attempted to find my original message, to read what I had written.

I was not able to get back to Ted's talk page where my message was.

Can you give me directions please.;)

I am looking to work at a wiki that needs experience and expertise. My abilities has been shown in some of my earlier edits. It has nothing to do with the ads, but what is needed and how important the mission is or maybe necessary is a better word.

If the mission here is only to make those who have web sites wealthy, then what about helping those who do not have web sites. How do they get helped or does it not matter.

I would like this response to also reach Ted, as he also replied.

Why am I having a problem returning to my message as well as your response. All I seem to see are your and Ted's replies..

thanks

Regarding Searching AboutUs with keywords/phrases

Hi again Mark,

It is an article of mine, on relevance, that you can view here: http://www.relevantarticles.org/article-relevance-relevance.html

This is my first use of this USER talk utility.
