Busy work is like digging a hole and then filling it back again. It reduces your capacity to perform as per your potential.
Why this is important
It's important for the community because if you can somehow avoid Busy Work, your productivity will improve and you will be able to produce a lot of material that is useful for the members in this community. Remember! This is your website. You are the owner of the content that is present. If you create material for others, they will do the same for you.
How do I get about it?
It's absolutely up to you to decide what is useful for the community and what is not. But maybe while working on these pages you could simply prioritize your work. That which, in your view, is good for the community should be done first.
