- Matt and I decided to start this site because we both like to watch movies on DVD. We both have big screens with surround sound systems down in our basements. The first thing we do every Monday morning when we get to work is talk about the movies we watched over the weekend. These conversations usually draw in our coworkers. Even though they may not have been hot off the presses they had seen those movies too and recall them with fond or not so fond memories. Cries of “Oh yeh, I saw that movie. It was sweet. Remember the part…” or “Dude, that movie sucked ass. You liked that?” can be heard ringing through our little piece of cubicle hell. OK, so from a work perspective, Monday mornings are not our most productive part of the week. But, seeing how much we and our other coworkers liked to talk about these movies, we thought it would be interesting to get a broader perspective on the movies were watching by doing the same thing everyone else is doing: putting our opinions on the internet. Best of all this Blog will give us an outlet to discuss our latest cinematic choices without endangering our jobs.
