- The Town of Spider Lake, comprised of three adjacent civil townships, is located in the upper northeastern corner of Sawyer County, Wisconsin (abutting Bayfield County to the north and Ashland County to the east). Chequamegon National and County Forest land make up more than half of the town's 108 square miles, and the numerous lakes (almost 100) cover nearly another 9 square miles (with 109 lineal miles of lake shoreline).
