I’m somewhere where I don’t know where I am - Homer Simpson Unlike Homer, I know where I am. I’m laying on my couch trying to recover from the root canal I had today. It was actually the easiest and shortest one I’ve had so far. But, that doesn’t stop it from hurting like hell now that the local has worn off.
I’ve been really busy lately. This past weekend I was home seeing my sister in a play. The acting was great, but the script was fully screwed up. I know my sister is wierd, but it would be nice to see her in a NORMAL play. Work has been in a holding pattern since my boss’s dad died. Now I come back from home and find out that the previous head of the department ( left several years ago ) had a massive heart attack and died. We just gave him some law books that the library was throwing out because he was going back into private law practice. He was only 50. After all that we are doing the minimum to keep things going. It is easy but boring at times. I’m not worried about it because I know it can’t last.
