- My name is Chris Jarmon, and I am an entering freshman football player at Colorado College, a member of Division III’s Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. I plan on studying English and Journalism, and hopefully (unless my plans change) afterwards I’ll begin a career as a sportswriter or broadcaster. Going into my freshman year of football at a Division III institution seemed like an interesting topic to start a blog about, and I felt like writing about my experiences in high school and college would be a great service to high school athletes considering Division III, as well as D3 fans, players, parents and coaches. Hopefully it will also allow me to improve my writing ability, and serve as a great way to look back on my experiences when my football career is over.
