- Welcome to The Chicago Files. This is a website that actually started about 5 years ago, when I was still being hosted by my friend Matt. I purchased my own domain and web hosting in March 2002, through 123cheapdomains and High Speed Web, respectively. Since then, I’ve updated on a pretty regular basis. I recently switched hosting companies and went with Total Choice Hosting and I haven’t gotten around to uploading everything from the old host yet, so if something is a little screwy this is probably the reason why. Why did I call the site “the chicago files”, when I don’t even live in the city? Um, good question. When I have an answer for you, you’ll be the first to know - promise!
