- In 1984, Rockland Teachers’ Center director Pat Sweet and O&R manager Judy Lankau met to explore ways to raise young people’s awareness of energy related issues. They invited the directors of the East Ramapo and Nyack teacher centers to join the discussion, and the result was S.E.E. – the Student Energy Exhibition. The exhibition was held at O&R offices in Spring Valley in 1984, then moved to Blue Hill Plaza in 1985. More than 100 students participated each year.
