- Hey!! My name is Vivek Singh and I am 21 years old. I am currently a third-year undergraduate Physics major at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. I was raised in various parts of India before I came here for higher education at the age of 19. I had never been to the US prior to my arrival here in August 2004. But I “think” I have sort of adjusted to life here. Home’s always much better of course, but this ain’t that bad. Food sucks for the most part since I am vegetarian but I get by somehow. People talk of the “Freshman 15″ and I like to say I lost 15 pounds as a freshman here!
