- I have been watching quite a bit on anime recently. I recently finished up Gantz, the ending was quite a disappointment. They has an interesting concept but wound up taking in nowhere. I have also been watching Gankustuou over the last several months as the DVDs have been released here in the US. This series is a retelling of the count of Monte Cristo set in a future sci-fi earth. They make wonderful use of textures and the setting suits the story quite well. I am also on the final disc of Elfin Lied, the series has been entertaining but never really grabbed my attention as some have. And finally I just downloaded all the episodes of the series Ergo Proxy and after watching the first several I am quite interested. Robots gaining sentience through a virus and going on killing sprees coupled with a hot goth heroine, sign me up.
