So, my Xbox360 finally kicked the bucket last weekend. Tried calling Xbox support and was told that it would take about 21 days to get it fixed. I was thinking of buying an Xbox360 elite but decided to wait it out. My friend Faneendra suggested that I try the "towel technique". I turned on the xbox360 and then covered the console with a towel completely. Apparently, this overheats the console and causes re-soldering of a broken connection. Then I turned off the console and turned it on after 5 minutes. It WORKED!!!! You have to hand it to the guy who first came up with the idea. I will still send the Xbox360 back for repair, but I can atleast play for the next few days until the shipment box arrives :)
