God is doing some movement this summer with Metro BCM. As many already know, Eric Roberts is now working with First Baptist Benton. I talked to Eric a couple weeks ago and he is doing so good. So much of his day is spent face to face with individuals who walk in off the streets seeking help in some way, shape or form. Eric is their first contact! He gets to not only meet physical needs, but is able to allow Christ to meet their spiritual needs. Now that sounds like church!! Take time today and pray for Eric and his family as they launch out in this new mission field!!
The interns, God has them moving too. I am not positive on everyone's status, but I know Becca Ellief is about to change her last name. She is getting married...hmmm...well real soon! That is a really cool. Cause marriage is, yippee yeah good.
ULAR has some new "caretakers." Josh moved out and Chase Greenwood and Brandon Fuller are the two kats who will be keeping the carpets clean and the toilets gleam...ing!! (alliteration is not my forte). After almost a decade of service, Francis Young, aka Mrs. Francis, has stepped down from her ministry position with Metro BCM. The IRS would state that she was employed as an office adminstator, but staff, students and faculty know that she was a woman of ministry to so many. For those who connected with her over the years, take a minute and drop her an email, thanking her for the time and effort she gave to Christ, in the name of BCM!!!Life around the UALR building will kickoff on Aug 21st. International nights are still hapening Monday Nights.
