I am an IT Specialist at IBM in White Plains, New York. I majored in Political Science and International Studies at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, but currently build Web applications with WebSphere and DB2 alongside Apache, MySQL and PHP.
I work full time as a “content tools developer,” building Web applications for internal IBM clients. Some of the sites are only accessible within the IBM intranet, others have public facing components, such as the newest iteration of the IBM press room.
Since I write here about goings on in the industry, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention this: “The postings on this site are my own and don’t necessarily represent IBM’s positions, strategies or opinions.”
