Killpid.com
Description
This is a personal blog (currently still in beta) for everyone interested in nothing by killing time. The website was originally placed in Microsoft Live Spaces. Since October 2006, it is hosted by Blogspot and still going strong with increasing readers everyday. The blog will occasionally contain personal feeling and philosophical posts. On most days, it will be updated with odd news articles, software development reviews, gadgets, games, jokes, funny videos and shallow critique of beautiful chicks.
Blogging Technology
Killpid uses Blogger.com, which is a weblog publishing system owned by Google since 2003. Blogger enables blogs to be hosted on its own servers (http://www.blogger.com/ with the blog created as a subdomain of blogspot.com, i.e. killpid.blogspot.com) or on the server of the blogger's choosing, transferred via FTP or SFTP.
Despite Blogger being a free service, the lack of functionalities has motivated Killpid to become a development playground with lots of "Blogger Hacks". There are many techniques used on the site, all of them have been either developed inhouse or learnt from others on the internet. A guide is currently in progress to document the whole site creation.
To the best of author's knowledge, no other blogspot site has more blogger hacks than Killpid. With the up coming migration to Blogger beta, there will be many more site improvements to come.
Articles
There will be on average, 10 posts per week on the various topics. These typically range from odd news events, how-to guides, jokes, and funny videos.
Everyweek, there is a Survival of the Babes post where readers can vote for the best looking female. Results will eventually be collated to sudden death matches.
Contents are continually being reviewed, and will improve as the development settles down.

Additional Information
The goal to completely finish the first cycle of development of killpid.com is in December 2006. Following that, there will be a possibility to transfer the blogspot site to FTP (but still use Blogger front end for blogging). The main advantage is more flexible search engine indexing. As well as the possibility to add in some server-side technologies to the website.
