Excerpted from the website: The unofficial ombudsman of the Republican Party. GOPublius.com is dedicated to keeping the Republican Party on track. It is conceived as a sounding board for frustrated Republicans, and likeminded Independents and Libertarians who wish to reconnect with the limited-government roots of the GOP.
In the traditions of Alexander Hamilton, John Jay and James Madison, who anonymously co-authored the famous Federalist Papers under the nom de plum “Publius,” GOPublius.com seeks to provide a sounding board for the Nation’s Republican opinion makers in an anonymous, respectful, and intellectually honest atmosphere.
GOPublius.com is not another sounding board for RNC talking points, or a cheering section for Republican lawmakers. It is space for intelligent, reasoned, and constructive dialogue about politics, policy, and the Party’s successes or failures with regard to the advancement of liberty and limited government.
