- Cynical yet naive. It is, perhaps, an odd combination to find in one person though I think it accurately describes my character. My faith in the abilities of people to interact with each other in a healthy, edifying, or otherwise constructive manner has slowly eroded into my current view of mankind as a generally self-serving group of organisms that has squandered our inheritance as the children of God. And yet my naivete comes out, cynical though I may be, for I am constantly surprised by the capacity of mankind to do wrong. Nevertheless, it is not my role to judge the world, since a man living in a glass house should hardly be the one to throw stones.
