- City Community Church (formerly known as City Charismatic Centre) was established in 1994 by seven form 5 school leavers. They were Chua Lih Sah, Kelly Koh Hwei Wen, Angelina Lim, Elaine Tan, Mark Lim, Steven Chia and Eric Kok. Upon completion of their form 5 examination, these 7 warriors together with Pastor Joanne started gathering children in Jalan Gajah Berang, Kampong Lapan and Bachang and started a Sunday School.
