- I’d like to take this time to introduce myself. Most of you should know me. My name is Dewayne Thrower. I’m from a little town called Anniston, AL. It’s a small town just off the interstate (I-20) Between Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA. I lived in the Anniston/Oxford area most of my life. I moved to Smyrna, TN, July 17, 1998. That has been the best move of my life so far. The reason I moved here was to attend Middle Tennessee State University. I also started driving a school bus. Driving the bus makes for a very exciting day. You never know what is going to happen
