- Late last night, as I was trying getting my mind off of how pissed I was over what had befell my Sunday, I flipped to, of all things, the “World’s Ugliest Dog” competition…probably on Animal Planet. I sort of went into watching it hoping for a chuckle, not at an animal’s expense…not really. Although typing it out now, I’m not sure how else I’d thought I’d get one from watching a competition like that. I can only say that I am incapable of deriving any pleasure from the pain an animal might be going through. But if it’s got a few warts on its face or something…different story.
