Description
LinkExtend, developed by Linkular LLC, is a browser add-on available for Firefox and Flock. It's designed to offer information on a website or websites in search results, before you visit it.
It currently offers safety ratings, child safety, company ethics, and popularity.
The Information
LinkExtend gets its information from 17 different sources. Different sources are used based on what the category of information is. For example, the safety ratings category derives its information from sources such as Web of Trust, Mcafee SiteAdvisor, etc. while the Ethics information is derived from Scyrve, Knowmore, etc. LinkExtend then calculates an overall rating for each category, based on the average rating of the sources for each category.
