Document Locator
Document Locator is ColumbiaSoft's innovative and affordable document management software for capturing, managing, sharing, and securing the information that powers critical business operations. The enterprise document management solution helps businesses manage electronic and paper documents; scan and convert paper documents to digital files; and capture and manage emails, attachments and faxes.
Software features include:
- Document management - capture, manage, share, and secure documents
- Document scanning - scan documents using optical character recognition (OCR) technology to create full-text indexes
- Email management - automated message storage, processing, routing, and tracking
- Workflow management - create, route, review, and approve documents for both defined and ad-hoc business processes
ColumbiaSoft was founded in 1998 by business processes expert and entrepreneur Richard Day. Day has first-hand experience of the challenges faced by corporate leaders in providing employees with the tools necessary to manage, share, and find documents. After finding other systems overly complex and costly, Day set out to solve the problem by bringing to market an innovative, low-cost, easy-to-use document management solution.
ColumbiaSoft is a privately held corporation headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with branch sales offices in Seattle, Washington; Los Angeles, California; Tampa, Florida; and Hartford, Connecticut.

Good synopsis of ColumbiaSoft's document management product, Document Locator. Thank you for putting that together. We're very excited to announce the release of version 5 this week, that adds more functionality to the current document imaging and management tools: the addition of robust records management functionality.
