The site "hifiprix" cannot be opened ( 31/07/2007)
Redirect or Moving pages
- Redirect for GE Appliances - dishwasher recall - pages not available. 7/31/07 1:40 pm
- Redirect loops for: The Wiki Way, Assume Good Faith,
- http://www.aboutus.org/index.php?title=Release_Early_Release_Often&action=edit Release Early Release Often.
This link is not working from TheWikiWay. Unable to move page back to the name I used when I created it either. This is not returned to normal by now.
And cannot save a copy of the misdirected ReleaseEarlyReleaseOften to a new page for Release Early Release Often.

- mistake moving causes problem moving back: http://www.aboutus.org/index.php?title=InstantMALE.com&redirect=no
- I cannot enter the site from http://www.aboutus.org/The_Wiki_Way . I get the following error The page isn't redirecting properly "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." - Scott Keeler
00:47, 25 July 2007 (PDT)
- It is OptosBooks.com not OpTosBooks.com. Please make the "T" a lower case "t". Thanks, Optos Books
- Is it just my Browser(Mozilla) or are many Redirects just not working? --User:Di | talk 19:40, 20 July 2007 (PDT)
- Tried fixing the capitalization of Realmagick.com to RealMagick.com and now it is broken... ooops! Firefox stalls saying that is has detected the server is trying to redirect in a manner that will never complete. Magicalpath 21:51, 20 July 2007 (PDT)
- AboutUsBot can't create pages for Mvo.ru, E-mvo.ru, Meemo.ca or insum.ca, although these are all valid sites. --206.126.82.63 13:07, 21 July 2007 (PDT)
- The same problem with inforadio.hu, 2in10.com and tvnetwork.hu --Eohippus 16:21, 21 July 2007 (PDT)
- I moved/renamed RotoRua5StarAttractions.co.nz to Rotorua5StarAttractions.co.nz to correct the name. It isn't redirecting properly so I haven't been able to fix the "what links here" yet. --User:Di | talk 02:57, 20 July 2007 (PDT)
- Same for this one so I'll leave moves for now until it's working again. Page RotoRua5StarTravel.com moved to Rotorua5StarTravel.com
- I moved SmartNiCnames.com to SmartNicNames.com and now neither page works. --Michael 08:37, 20 July 2007 (PDT)
- TadLeyRoundabout.co.uk's screenshot is years out of date. -- User:212.241.168.186 07:00, 20 July 2007
- I updated the screenshot and renamed TadLeyRoundabout.co.uk to TadleyRoundabout.co.uk. Please delete the redirect page at the old name to eliminate the resulting infinite loop problem. --Eohippus 01:24, 20 July 2007 (PDT)
- I renamed PortarosA.it to Portarosa.it to correct the name. It isn't redirecting properly so I haven't been able to fix. If possible change it to PortaRosa.it. Tnx.
- Noticing some broken redirects: USG.com, NRGEnergy.com. ChrisBabson
- The Africa category has an accent mark over the "A" causing category:Africa to appear as a red link.
- The adress that you give for the festival of russian cinema in Honfleur : festival-honfleur.com has been false for the last 4 years. The correct address is www.festival-honfleur.fr. Thank you to take notice and congratulations for your good job.
Some examples of redirect that don't seem to be casespace related that aren't working: TakKendrick should redirect to User:TakKendrick. On the opposite end, User:MarkDilley should be redirecting to MarkDilley, also John Stanton.
- don't know if it is related - but my photo in my profile is not displaying: David Braden
- Ah, thanks. I just double checked the long term fix I put in place to stop this happening again and improved it, although this is probably just one that got missed. We should be on the lookout for any further pages that need to be purged and do them large scale. - Jason Parmer 22:14, 18 July 2007 (PDT)
CaseSpaceDuplicates
- Site is totally gone. And someone has taken advantage of this and has put up simular title pages with different caps usage. Site is YECHeadquarters.org. Also redirect from old page does not work either.70.154.167.200 04:21, 25 July 2007 (PDT)
- Problem solved. Now if we can get rid of the troll who keeps editing my page YECHeadquarters.org. You can turn the edit off on that page and my user page. 70.154.167.200 22:35, 27 July 2007 (PDT)
International letters in the categories are a problem, such as 123exp-Geography.com/africa/ - the Category:Africa - it shows the Category:África - but the page is not in the category. MarkDilley
- This may be a consequence of importing non-English category names from dmoz.org. Note that we have Category:Télécommunications (which is French), but not Category:Telecommunications. --Eohippus 07:28, 24 July 2007 (PDT)
- Crazy-Erotica.com shows an issue for the CaseSpaceDuplicates. It is redirecting to the proper category, but it is not in the category itself. MarkDilley
- AboutUsBot can't create pages for JoTankers.com or StoraEnso.com, although these are valid sites. --Eohippus 00:33, 20 July 2007 (PDT)
- I urenamed TimeFortea.ca to TimeForTea.ca. Please delete the redirect page at the old name to eliminate the resulting infinite loop problem. --Eohippus 02:26, 20 July 2007 (PDT)
AboutUsBot is not running
See Special:Contributions/AboutUsBot. This explains the behavior identified by Scott Keeler. Could the following domains be added directly to the top of AboutUsBot's queue: JoTankers.com, StoraEnso.com,Mvo.ru, E-mvo.ru, Meemo.ca, insum.ca, no-more-big-white-trucks.info, MaryDeniseLands.com, inforadio.hu, and tvnetwork.hu ? --Eohippus 06:32, 25 July 2007 (PDT)
- I searched on no-more-big-white-trucks.info it said it was making a page on it and would redirect me...it just sat there. LindaNowakowski 04:37, 25 July 2007 (PDT)
- I have been noticing an unusually high number of pages in recent changes that are not being scraped, even though the web sites exist (Examples: Primitivesandporcelain.com, Manashop.ir, Graciasdenada.com.ar). I have also noticed that when previously a red link for a web site when clicked would search and then create the page through the bot now just links to a blank edit page for it. (Example: red links in User talk:Liahren) ? KristinaWeis
- Talked to Kristina about the first portion of this note (that users create these by hand by typing them into the URL and that this is not a bot problem)...not sure on the second half though. Isabel 10:18, 25 July 2007 (PDT)
RecentChanges shows one day only
Just was curious about the recent changes of the last 30 days. So I checked 500 entries, and 30 days, but got only a small subset (less than 500) of today. It would be great, to have a big RecentChanges archive to look for potential partners of projects. fridemar 06:38, 25 July 2007 (PDT)
Other
- A user was able to upload despite there already being an . Clicking on though goes to the image/page for . --

The Network Weavers box at http://networkweavers.net using the About Us Network WEavers Values box doesn't edit correctly. It doesn't update content when edited.
I've just been hammered by your server 209.139.1.11 (www.lilrc.org). Starting 7/28/2007 10:51:21 till 10:55:53 , all times are PST. I have a block on my FTP server that stops any attempt after 20. I emailed , and the email was bounced. Help? V. Main
Redlinks Showing, Should be blue?
I put Line here as following errors are after site functionality returned to normal 7/27 - Di
What links here
I have been moving some pages (changing names to correct caps) and sometimes the WhatLinksHere pages are auto changing to reflect the new name BUT sometimes they are just disappearing, gone, zap! I'm wondering why? --User:Di | talk 01:57, 28 July 2007 (PDT)
- Because they link to the old name. You have to manually fix every page that linked to the old name and change the links to reflect the rename. A move does not move referring pages. This is not an error, this is a quirk of MediaWiki. Nathan (talk) / 09:07, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Which at a meta level might be an error! :-) You should probably tab o ut a What LinksHer page before you move.. ~~ MarkDilley
Yes, I know that WhatLinksHere pages need to be manually changed to reflect the rename. I've been doing that which is why I check them. I thought I was seeing things when I moved a page and the WhatLinksHere pages just automatically changed (not redirected). They usually redirect and then I access them from the renamed page and change each one individually, sometimes a big job. But If they aren't redirected now, then I can't change them. I might be able to change them individually BEFORE doing the move/rename. seems that's the only way to do it now, or am I slowly going crazy ;-)? --User:Di | talk 17:21, 28 July 2007 (PDT)
See Qualmark.co.nz The previous page had many WhatLinksHere pages and I went to fix them but they are gone. This was not the way it was pre site update. Help pls - should I have changed them before moving the page? User:Di | talk Okay, IF I have a WhatLinksHere page open Before moving a page. I can access the pages that need changing. They are not redirecting and I know they were before as I've been moving lots of New Zealand pages to correct Maori language place name spelling. Yippee, I've found a way to make it work. - Di
Random?
I've had a random issue when patrolling the old-school Special:RecentChanges. I've had a few diffs when I got to tab them out take me instead to the current page instead of showing the normal diff. One such page as an example is DoubleGPress.com. This in and of itself isn't really a problem so long as they work in uber patrol, but perhaps its worth a heads-up because I don't know what would be making this happen. KristinaWeis 01:24, 29 July 2007 (PDT)
- Oh, looking at the history of DoubleGPress.com it was just "moved" so that would explain it. KristinaWeis 01:30, 29 July 2007 (PDT)
Problem with creating a Page
I went to save a new page called value flows and received the following error message:
- A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:
- (SQL query hidden)
- from within function "Article::insertOn". MySQL returned error "1305: PROCEDURE wiki.CASESPACE_CONFLICT does not exist (10.10.10.207)".
I created a number of other pages with no problem.
- I received this same error with Consensus Poll. TedErnst
- I had that error also yesterday/Sunday NZ Time. I was moving/renaming pages. User:Di | talk
- I had a similar problem with the page: OpenBusinessWiki
Turns out there was another page called Value Flows with the difference being the upper case in the name - I solved the problem by going value flows - thanks Ted David Braden
e-mail confirmation
I am trying to confirm my e-mail so that I can get e-mail notice on my watch list. The system says that I was previously sent a confirmation code - which I cannot find - and does not seem to be sending me a new code (tried twice with several hours in between). David Braden
templates no longer forward
Since the case space change, Yes doesn't work seemingly because the template is actually YES. Before the change, one redirected to the other and both worked. TedErnst
CaseSpace and my own ineptitude
Well, I did a bad thing. Was trying to move AcCessezY.com.au to accessEzy.com.au. Except I mistyped it and it went to acxessEzy.com.au. No, when I try to move it back, I get a database error with the following error from MySQL "1305: PROCEDURE wiki.CASESPACE_CONFLICT does not exist (10.10.10.207)". To make matters worse, I can seem to open either AcCessezY.com.au or accessEzy.com.au to just hand copy the text back into either page. The page ends up having a redirect error. -- TakKendrick | Talk 18:08, 6 August 2007 (PDT)
UserPages and Adult Flagging
We are not able to flag user pages that are adult in nature, say an escort service. Do we want to proceed doing these by hand, or implement flagging as we can on domain wiki pages? Kasey 13:39, 9 August 2007 (PDT)
- My understanding from talking to the developers is that currently the flag tool is designed to work on DomainPages only. We should work out the kinks on it there first and then decide if we want to expand it's usefulness to other pages. So, yes, for now we'll be flagging pages of an adult nature that aren't DomainPages by hand. --
