- Sondra Scott founded Aesthetics by Sondra. Sondra has been in the skin care industry since 1970. In addition to her skin care knowledge; she was also in the management field since 1969. She sold skin care products on an independent basis until 1981. In 1981, she enrolled at the Career Academy of Beauty in Seal Beach, California, and received her California Board of Cosmetology aesthetic license in August of 1982. After graduating, she was employed by a salon in the Bixby Knolls area, as an aesthetician and salon manager. After leaving her first salon job, Sondra gained expertise from working at yet another salon before opening her own doors in 1987.
