The No-IP.com main page has a simple design which makes the website easy to use. Since the goal of the company’s website is to make its products and their characteristics easily accessible to the customers, this website format is the best way to go. There is a brief description of the company on the upper left side and a column listing solutions and services provided by No-IP on the right. The special offers are presented in the lower left half of the main page. At the top of the page a horizontal bar gives access to the main sections of the website that include services, support, downloads and the company’s detailed description.
Solutions and services
The column on the right side of the website’s main page contains a list of Internet solutions and services provided by No-IP.com, like web redirection, webmail, domain registration and many more. The “more info” option opens a detailed description of each product complete with subcategories such as product comparison, pricing or features. The services listed in the horizontal bar at the top of the main page are structured in four different categories: DNS services, mail services, domain registration and monitoring. This type of structure makes it easier for the consumer to know exactly what each product does. However, since we are not all computer experts and we may require additional help, the support button at the top of the main page offers to answer any questions we have and also provides a “Getting Started Guide” for those who are not yet familiar with basic steps like creating an account or configuring a router. The internet solutions provided by No-IP are available to download; the download section of the website is also located at the top of the main page.
No-IP.com has a clean, simple design, the point of focus being the Internet solutions provided by the company and the specific characteristics of each and every one of them. Because the main page is not crowded it is very easy to browse through and the way to access the company’s products is clear from the moment you open the page.
