What is this? This site is a category listing of halibut fish and chips restaurants and eateries in Portland, OR.

Why do this? After moving to Oregon from Michigan in 2007, I discovered halibut fish and chips in Portland. I absolutely love them! They are delicate, meaty, tender, mildly sweet, and oh, so much better than fish and chips from cod or other less tasty fish.

I want to use this page to post restaurants, pubs, grills, and other eateries in Portland that serve halibut fish and chips. Yes, this is a long list and it's expected to grow but there are lots of places to eat in Portland and not all fish 'n' chips served are halibut.

I also started a simple rating system of the places where I've eaten this tasty dish. Feel free to join in with your additions, and to make this site more useful and creative!
