Introduction

This is the personal web site for Mason Woo. I am a computer science professional with a background in finance, with degrees from both Brown University and the London School of Economics and Political Science. I was a full-time employee at Silicon Graphics and Blue Martini Software, and I have been an independent consultant for several companies.

OPENGL

OpenGL is a graphics API (application programming interface) used to write interactive 2D and 3D graphics applications, such as scientific visualization, visual simulation, computer-assisted design, and videogames. I was once secretary of the Architecture Review Board and am co-author of the OpenGL Programming Guide, which is also known as the "Red Book." There is a link to the errata of the 5th (latest) edition on the right side of this page.

For more about OpenGL, go to opengl.org. There is also a subset, OpenGL ES, which is designed for embedded systems, such as mobile phones and videogame consoles.
