Valerie Miner is the award-winning author of twelve books including Abundant Light. She has published in the Village Voice, The Nation, Prairie Schooner, Ploughshares, Salmagundi, and other journals. She was a 2000 Fulbright Senior Scholar to India and is presently a Professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Minnesota.
