Welcome to AboutUs. Thanks for the updates to Qwert.net. I was forwarded your email about how to get featured. I'm going to go ahead and start the process for you. Basically, you get FeatureMeNominated (which I'm going to do now) and we'll give you pointers on how to spiff the WikiPage up. This pointers/notes should now be on the page. From looking at your contributions I don't see any image uploads, so to start from scratch:
- 1) Click on Upload file to go to the upload page
- 2) Click the 'browse' button to select the file you want to upload from your computer (i'd stick with jpeg, gif, or png formats here).
- 3) Once you've selected the desired file, click on the 'upload file' button.
- NOTE:there may be an intermediary page here about file size. if the file is too big our system will still accept it, but you might want to go back and make it smaller to decrease the loading time on your page.
- 4) Once the file is uploaded you will be on its image page. Take note of the image name you assigned (Doctor.jpg, for instance) for step 5).
- 5) Go to the AboutUs wiki page that you want to edit. Once in the edit window, type in Image:Doctor.jpg (with double brackets ([[) on either end - can't do it here or it would display the image!). Other parameters (size, orientation(left/right), and thumbnail text among them) can be added as well.
