AboutMe

I am the host of a gaming community known as Realms Beyond that has been around since 1997. We play many games with the same philosophy:

to seek challenge and fun, not simply 'high score' or 'the most elite stuff!'
to excel is virtue
to look to become friends with those you play with
to treat others with respect, whether you agree with them or not
to steadfastly avoid cheating

With a nick name such as this, many people would have thought I am a PKer (people killer) when they meet me in an online game. KingOfPain was the name of my first BNM Beyond Naked Mage in Diablo, and started to be an active poster at the Asylum (a gaming forum) under this name. It was common practice to use the character's name as poster's name when posting about that character. The name got stuck eventually - But I assure you I am just a kind, gentle, loving, fun and friendly co-op person. YMMV ;p
