Kiki Stamatiou was born and raised in Kalamazoo, MI; thus, growing up with two younger brothers. She has a B. A. degree in the Writing field from Western Michigan University (Class of 1992), and an Associates degree in the area of Liberal Arts from Kalamazoo Valley Community College (Class of 1990), in addition to being a graduate of Mattawan High School (Class of 1988). Her novel DOMINICA'S INFERNO was published by PublishAmerica under her pen name Joanna Maharis. This book is available thru www.barnesandnoble.com and www.publishamerica.com. Some of her short stories and poems were recently published on www.Triond.com under her pen name Joanna Maharis, and some of her articles were published on www.helium.com under her birth name Kiki Stamatiou.
