Founder of Destiny's Ride a recreational therapeutic riding center catering to those with the upper extremity either through amputation, congenital or limb dysfunction. At the age of 16 I lost my master hand in an industrial accident and it was through horses I found a new level of self esteem and confidence as well as loving and accepting the "new" me. I want to bring to others the same type of healing I experienced. I am empathetic and understanding of what life is like to deal with the everyday challenges of having one hand and want to edify and build the inner strength of others just like myself. In all my years I have yet to find any equine facility catering to the upper extremity none the less facilitated by a person with the upper extremity who has the compassion and understanding not only as a victim, but as a person who can help others in the same situation or the family member who doesn't know how to support the person in this situation
