- Harry Keller (frustrated) : I have had a month to month lease at Place One for over a year. The rental office knows I wan't to maintain a month to month lease due as I am finalizing an agreement with my wife. I have paid an additional $75.00 a month for the month to month lease from my start date through 5/1/08. In January, while I was travelling a letter was supposedly sent to me informing me that unless I responded within a certain period of time, I would automatically be renewed into a one year lease. When I received a notice of the one year lease, I immediately responded in writing to Janice Stauffer that I do not and never wanted a year lease and was willing to pay extra for a shorter lease. Janice Stauffer, has repeatedly ignored my many requests to resolve this issue and recently tried to refund the May monthly charge of $75, which I paid in good faith. Please allow me to maintain a month to month lease and I will continue to pay the additional $75. Thank you. Harry Keller CPA, CFP, ChFC.
