We are one of the foremost professional in-home dog training programs in CT & NY, offering all types of dog training, puppy education & behavior modification.

Developed and refined over 15+ years, our approach is based on the canine psychology of "pack mentality." Voice control and body language are the instinctual tools dogs understand. We use these techniques in teaching your dog, but more importantly, we teach you how to get control and become the fair and responsible pack leader your dog needs. All training is done in-home and our proven methods are successful with any dog of any breed.

Our techniques are not designed for the lazy. The 10 Minute Dog approach is based on three principles. First, we understand that you, like many people are faced with time limitations due to family, work and other obligations. You would like to have a well balanced and trained dog. Maybe you're faced with behavioral problems like whining, jumping, mouthing, biting, stealing food or aggression. Perhaps you just got a puppy or puppies and don't know where to start. Maybe you want to train your dog to the next highest level. Our trainer can help. Second, experience has shown that a canine's interest level and ability to learn decreases rapidly after about ten minutes, thus the owner is faced with the law of diminishing returns which often results in failure and frustration. Our ten minute a day program has proved to be incredibly successful with all dogs and all breeds. Our private lessons are based on "try and succeed", not "try and fail." Training sessions always end on a positive note. Third, behavior modification and obedience training are based on the dog's inherent pack mentality. There are only four (4) ways a dog communicates: 1. vocal intonation and inflection; 2. body language; 3. touch; and, 4. scent. The 10 Minute Dog's approach uses these methods of communication to quickly and permanently transform your dog into a balanced, happy and well behaved pet.
