AboutMe

This is your PersonalPage. I am a high-level Exeuctive Assistant who used to work in fraud prevention and investigation, before my lending company had to declare bankruptcy. I seem to have accidentally gotten involved with now trying to stop fraudsters on the job boards, due to the fact that I always research who the company is I'm speaking to, or if there on-line websites seem a bit shady. The ONE thing I did wrong, while using craigslist, and not there fault or mine, is that when I thought I was emailing to a legitimate employer (and how would you not know or know), I did not follow the obvious rules you follow when selling something. DON'T give out personal information such as I was using my traditional resume with phone number, and yes, my home address. I can't believe I was that stupid. When I see on-line websites asking for personal information or my friends or co-workers information (Career Network, Inc. = Fruadster), I didn't fill it out. But then I realized I'm sending out my resume 'as is'. From now on I am sending only my email contact, as that account can be deleted and you can create a new one, but while looking for a job I've already done this once. Even phone is risky as the fraudsters keep calling. I don't know how you are supposed to find a job in today's down economy and with fraudsters filling the on-line sites. The worst is Career Network, Inc. and I've now linked them to Talent Network - Alexander Simon, or Alex..... I have reported this entity to craigslist and the Federal Trade Commission. Career Network, Inc. was charged by the FTC for similar activity in 2001. And reporting every fraudster on www.ripoffreport.com. I'm writing this in the hopes that others realize not to send your full real resume initially, especially to those jobs that seem too good to be true. I can't believe, I, with my training have done this. I am continuing my investigations into Career Network, in the hopes we can get them out of craigslit.
